What I remember from the Snowbird meetings when we discussed setting
up a wiki site is that we needed a way to avoid interleaving various
discussions and the difficulty of keeping a mental image of the
various issues over the uneven course of email exchanges.

By moving discussions on specific topics to wiki pages, we can keep
the state of the discussion in one place (and the version control
system keeps the history). I like having a single place to view what
has been said on a given topic. Email discussion is still necessary
for introducing some new issues, or discussing procedures, etc but I
think the bulk of our work should happen on the wiki site (it is
unfortunate that the wiki page editing is painful (cut-and-paste back
and forth from emacs), but that is the price to pay I guess).

Does anyone object to this aside from Michael?

Marc
