Sorry about following up to myself---I'd forgotten that SRFI 57
(Records) builds on SRFI 9 in exactly the same way as the layers in
our proposal---the DEFINE-RECORD-TYPE in SRFI 57 is a conservative
extension of SRFI 9, and its implementation is built on top of it.
(One of my favorite SRFIs, btw.)
